How we choose the Monitor
Quick review of Monitor technology
The advancements in LCD technology have resulted in CRT monitor's dying
as a technology. So we obviously chose the current tech - an LCD monitor.
We feel 19 inches is the best blend of size and price in an LCD monitor
currently. A wide screen 19 inch monitor is substantially smaller than a
regular screen 19 inch monitor, so we stayed away from a wide screen
display. Also, a taller display is preferable for web surfing.
Since we believe in selecting external speakers for better sound quality, we
don't need to pay for a monitor with built in speakers.
